I won! I won! I won!

Ok, so it’s not really ‘first place’, but, I did win some really cool blog contests recently!

I’d like to send a big GIANT thank you for Jim and Doreen Kukral for sending me out a super groovy package of goodness in the mail!! You may know Jim from JimKukral.com and recently his wife, Doreen, has stormed into the blogging world with her wonderful blog, MomGoesGreen.com!

I’ve been following and listening to Jim for a number of years now and I really have learned a lot from him. Most importantly, to step up my video game. So – thank you for that, Jim!

And Doreen – she has taken over the green blogging world, as far as I’m concerned. This is one mama that knows her stuff in the ‘going green, saving the planet’ movement – and what she doesn’t know, she researches and finds out – with all of us following along!

Well, they’ve both recently run contests on their blogs and I just happen to be the lucky winner of both of them! No, they weren’t rigged, no, I’m not related to them – no, no, and no! LOL!!!


The prize I won from Jim was this wonderful book that I eagerly awaited to arrive, and rightly so, as I’m devouring it quite quickly! The book is called LinkedWorking: Generating Success on LinkedIn the Worlds Largest Professional Networking Websiteand it was written by Frank Agin and Lewis Howes and it really helps you figure out how to best navigate the networking process on LinkedIn.

I am absolutely loving this book and so glad to have it!

Quite on a different plane, from Doreen, I won lip gloss. Oh, but, not just any lip gloss. No, lip gloss from a wonderful company called Kiss My Face. The company was started 25 years ago by a couple of very young vegetarians and it started with none other than, a product that gets all CHEERS from me, an olive oil soap bar. Not sure how much I’ve talked about it here on the blog, but, I am a very serious cheerleader for olive oil!! All of their subsequent products, including the ‘ugly’ olive oil soap bar from Greece, are natural and organic. In reading their product values and company values, I can wholeheartedly say that I would love to work there!

So here is the cool part about my lip gloss winnings – I won TWELVE of them!! Twelve?! When is the last time you bought twelve lip glosses at once? LOL

With the lovely package, Doreen put in a lovely note on the cutest paper, in the neatest script I’ve ever seen written by a human hand! It is so cute! I tried to get a pic of it to show you, but, I’m having all kinds of camera troubles lately! Just take my word for it – super cute! And she says,
