My mom sent me this great video via email this morning! And even though it’s kind of long, as far as funny ‘email video things’ go, I absolutely loved every minute of it! It’s all you ever needed to know about living with fabulous felines! And more! ;)

I promptly emailed her back and thanked her for the wickedly cool blog fodder! Too funny, really, because, just the other day (Friday? I think) my dad emailed me some wickedly cool blog fodder that’s brewing and boiling in my brain! And you thought my folks weren’t good for anything! Oh…wait…that was me as a teenager…oh yeah….

Ok, let’s get on with the video – I just know you’re going to love it! Follow me….

The gentleman who put the video together is Paul Klusman, and he is a serious cat-lover! He and his buddy have even produced a few videos of cats that they’ve rescued that need homes. They took the cats to the vet, had them fixed, got their shots and are now looking for caring humans to welcome them into their homes. One of the cats has been adopted, and as many views as their videos are getting, I wouldn’t be surprised if the others have, as well!

Shortly after posting his original video, he published a new one, asking for support from viewers to petition YouTube to feature his wonderfully funny feline video.

That call out to his viewers apparently worked, because, he was soon featured in the pets and animals section. So then he published a thank you video full of news and updates! He’s received quite a bit of interesting fan mail – even some marriage proposals!

I love the name of the ‘art’ that his cat, Oscar, exuberantly participates in – “post-modern cardboard deconstruction”! I love it! This guy is so funny! I love that style of dry humor, reminds me of a couple family members of mine! It’s brainiacs – so many of them are like that!

One of the cool things he shared with us in the update video is that his sister is a phenomenal artist and is going to do some paintings of his cats. And then they are going to put the paintings up for auction and share the proceeds with animal rescue groups. I love the sound of that! He shared his sister’s website with us: Sweetwater Art Studio – Equine Art and Animal Portraits She is amazing! I am totally bookmarking her site! :)
