That's hysterical! I'd be more than happy for the kids to get free Bibles - if they were also getting Koran's and plenty of other religion's texts, too. If I <i>took</i> my child to church and she got a free Bible - that's expected. Understandable. In a government-run facility? No. Not cool. Unless, of course, like I said, they were exploring different religions, as an educational unit - and were given many different books - or at least, multiple books. Love your word - ‘Jesufucation’!! I can't remember WHY I went that evening. This was in the 80s. I'm happy to get a free bible anytime. It is so nice to read your blog and know that there are people out there who believe in god and also believe in the separation of church and state!
