Ok, you guys, these things are just creepy looking!! But they are so very cool! A person was out walking Tuesday evening on the beach when they happened upon this squid who had washed up on shore. Now scientists are there measuring it and taking samples. The main body of the squid is six and a half feet long!! Yikes - can you imagine running into that thing in the water - that would freak me out completely! The museum curator even said, “It’s a whopper!”

It really makes you wonder when for so long they were considered mythical creatures, despite many sightings by mariners. What other ‘mythical’ creatures could really be real? You know?
